Karwar: Additional Deputy Commissioner Sajid Mulla has directed officials assigned to examination duties to strictly follow all examination guidelines and ensure that the SSLC Exam-2, scheduled from May 18 to 23, is conducted in a transparent and disciplined manner.
He was speaking while chairing a preparatory meeting held at the District Commissioner’s office conference hall regarding the conduct of SSLC Exam-2.
A total of 1,773 students from the Karwar and Sirsi educational districts will appear for the examination, which will be conducted across 12 exam centres. The ADC instructed officials to ensure all basic facilities such as drinking water and toilets are available at all centres.
He also directed that CCTV cameras must be installed at examination centres to maintain integrity. He emphasized the appointment of inspection officers, proper functioning of webcasting systems, deployment of medical staff as a precautionary measure, and police security for the transport of question papers and answer sheets.
Further instructions included ensuring adequate bus facilities for students and uninterrupted power supply from HESCOM during the examination period.
He urged all officials involved to understand their responsibilities, work in coordination, and ensure error-free conduct of the examinations.
The meeting was attended by Education Officer and SSLC Exam Nodal Officer Dr. Shubha Nagendra Nayak, officials assigned to examination duties, and through virtual mode, all taluk tahsildars and other concerned officers.
