Karwar: The Karnataka State Marketing Communication and Advertising Limited (KSMCA) on Saturday expanded its footprint in coastal Karnataka with the inauguration of its Karwar branch, marking the organisation’s 15th office across the state.
The new office was inaugurated by KSMCA Chairman and Karwar MLA Satish Sail, who said the move aims to strengthen the agency’s presence in Uttara Kannada district and streamline advertising and communication activities at the regional level.
Addressing the gathering, Sail noted that KSMCA has steadily established its network across multiple districts in Karnataka, playing a key role in government outreach and event promotion. He highlighted the agency’s involvement in organising and promoting major state events such as the Karavali Utsav and Hampi Utsav, adding that the institution continues to grow as a significant platform for public communication and advertising services.
He further said that steps are already underway to establish a permanent office for KSMCA in Karwar. An application has been submitted to the Karnataka Housing Board seeking land allocation, and plans are in place to construct a dedicated building in the near future.
Officials and staff from KSMCA’s Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada units, including regional manager Raghavendra Shastri, were present at the event.
