Sources have revealed that 78 cases have been registered at Kumta police station alone. Additionally, FIRs have been filed against 12 individuals in Karwar, 16 in Bhatkal, 22 in Yellapur, 46 in Sirsi, and 18 in Haliyal.
Despite the implementation of the election code of conduct, the buses transported people to Ankola for the PM Modi program without obtaining approval from the Election Officer.

In response, the BJP candidates stated that they did not reserve the buses themselves, but rather, the supporters of Modi managed the buses. Consequently, the police have registered cases against the individuals who booked the buses based on the instructions of the election officers.
