Bhatkal: Students should avoid negative thinking and achieve their goals through positive thinking and dedicated hard work, lecturer Vinod Hegde said at the annual day celebrations of Shri Guru Sudhindra College for the academic year 2025-26.

Addressing the programme, Vinod Hegde of Government Mohan K. Shetty PU College, Honavar, encouraged students to remain focused and determined in life.

Chief guest and college alumnus Rajat Acharya urged students to improve their skills and communication abilities to secure better opportunities.

Trustee Manager of Bhatkal Education Trust Rajesh Nayak said the college would focus on AI certification, skill training and social awareness programmes under “Aksha-2026” in the next academic year.

Meritorious students and achievers in academics, sports and extracurricular activities were felicitated during the programme.
