Udupi: New Udupi SP Dr. K Arun has made it clear that there will be a strict crackdown on moral policing incidents, with zero tolerance.He emphasized that those involved in such actions will face severe punishment. 

After taking over the role from his predecessor Akshay Hakay, Dr. Arun underscored the need for proactive policing to prevent all forms of unlawful activities. He assured the public that their safety and well-being would be a top priority, continuing the excellent initiatives started by Akshay. In particular, he pledged to intensify efforts to combat the drug menace and take strong action against illegal activities, including narcotics trafficking.

Dr. Arun, a member of the 2014 IPS batch from Tamil Nadu, holds an MBBS degree from the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. His previous assignments as Superintendent of Police in Chitradurga, Davangere, and Vijayanagara have equipped him with valuable experience in law enforcement.
