Bhatkal: Shams Pre-University College, located under Heble Gram Panchayat limits in Bhatkal taluk, has achieved an impressive 93% pass percentage in the II PUC examinations for the academic year 2026.
Out of a total of 29 students who appeared for the examination, 27 students successfully passed. Among them, 15 students secured distinction, while 12 cleared the exam in first class, reflecting the institution’s consistent academic performance.
Leading the results, student Atfa Siddique secured the first rank with 588 marks (98%), followed by Rukiya Iflah, who scored 580 marks (96.66%) to secure the second position. Mariyam Safa stood third with 574 marks (95.66%).
Several other students also performed commendably, including Aman Ikkeri (565), Ismail Ibbu (564), Marwa (561), Afham Musba (557), Fatima Asra (538), Hanan Abdul Azeem (531), and Mohammed Jayan (528), all securing notable marks.
The college management, principal, and teaching staff have expressed happiness over the students’ achievements, attributing the success to the dedicated efforts of the students and the continuous guidance provided by the faculty.
