Sirsi: Around eight persons were arrested by Bengaluru police when they were involved in attempting to sell wildlife skin to Bengaluru from Uttar Kannada district. On receiving legal information, the Bengaluru police arrived to the district and nabbed eight persons.

The accused are Manjunath Naik of Sirsi, Krishna Naik of Honnavar, Uday Naik, Mahendra Hegde, Uday Raikar, Manjunath Naik Yadalli, Raghvendra Pujari of Sirsi and Sunil Naik of Dasankoppa.

They were arrested for selling Leopard and Deer skin along with six horns of Deer.
