Absconding Mumbai minors found at Karwar

Karwar: Two minor girls, who fled from Mumbai for the harrashment of their stepmother were taken into custody by Karwar Railway Protection Force (RPF) police on Wednesday at Karwar railway station.

According to RPF during the confidentional watch at Karwar Railway station on arrival of Mangalore Express, Inspector Deepak pratap sharma RPF Karwar along with another staff N. V. Muhemmad found two girls in S-2 coach in suspecious manner. On inquiry with the co passengers they revealed that the girls were boarded in the train from Panvel without Guardian. They were having no tickets for their journey too. When they enquired both the children and not received  satisfactory reply, they broght both  the girls to RPF Post Karwar for further enquiry.

During the enquiry in presence of women constable, the girls revealed that, they were absconded from their native place Mumbai due to the harrashment of their step mother and boarded the local train to Panvel. During the course of enquiry they revealed their names as well as father name.

After contacting with father Abdul Rahim, he told that the girls are absconded from their house and he lodged a missing complaint with Shivaji Nagar Police station Mumbai. 

The RPF handed over the children to Child Welfare Committee, Karwar for further legal process.
