KARWAR: Amid cheer of fans, Sandalwood actor Yash campaigned for BJP candidate Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri in Sirsi town on Saturday.

 Yash was the first star to campaign for the party candidate in the town. He travelled in an open vehicle and sought voters for Kageri. He was accompanied by Kageri and his supporters. His road show was started from Ashwini Circle and culminated at Old Bus Terminal, before passing through the major streets of the city.

He told reporters that he is not attached to any political party. He will campaign if he feels the candidate is good. “Kageri is a good politician. He has initiated many development Works in the constituency. That is why I am hero to seek vote for him,” he added.
