Mangaluru: Additional Director General K R Suresh, PTM, TM, Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard), toured the Coast Guard District Headquarters in Mangaluru, residential areas, and CGAOT Bengaluru.

He visited Mangaluru, residential areas and CGAOT Bengaluru from January 12 to 15.

In a series of discussions with officers and personnel, he tackled various crucial issues, stressing the significance of maintaining a vigilant stance against emerging threats, particularly those related to maritime security challenges in the Arabian Sea.

The Flag Officer's insightful perspectives and strategic guidance highlighted the necessity for increased preparedness to ensure a swift and effective response to unforeseen scenarios.

Expressing satisfaction with the ongoing infrastructure development, the Flag Officer instructed officials to expedite project completion, emphasizing the importance of meeting maritime security challenges and enhancing operational efficiency along the Western Seaboard.
