Air India to connect Bengaluru-Hubbali-Mumbai from Dec 12

Hubballi: Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju will formally inaugurate the upgraded Hubballi Airport on 12th December, Tuesday. He will also flag off Hubballi-Mumbai air service by the Air India on the same day.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has upgraded Hubballi Airport at a cost of Rs 142 crore, and the works included expansion of runway, construction of the new terminal, new ATC tower and other facilities. Air India’s Bengaluru-Hubballi-Bengaluru flight, special flights, and helicopters are already using the expanded runway.

From December 12, Air India will operate Bengaluru-Hubballi-Mumbai flight on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

This 124-seater flight will leave Bengaluru at 12 noon, reach Hubballi at 12:50 pm, depart Hubballi at 1.25 pm and reach Mumbai at 2.30 pm. In the return direction, it will leave Mumbai at 3.25 pm, reach Hubballi at 4.35 pm, depart Hubballi at 6.10 pm, and reach Bengaluru at 7 pm.

MP Pralhad Joshi said that booking for this air service opened on Wednesday and the inaugural fare is fixed at Rs 3,840.
