Karwar: The police have reportedly nabbed one person in connection with the murder of Dandeli advocate Ajit Naik, on Monday night.

The suspect identified as Pandu alias Deepak Kamble hails from Yellapura in Uttara Kannada district and is a resident of Maulangi in Dandeli, it is said.

It is believed that the police grew suspicious of his behaviour and questioned him when he was walking down a street in Dandeli. Surprisingly, a random suspicion led the police to lay hands on an accused in a murder case that took place a couple of days ago.

However, the police have not yet confirmed the same.

Advocate Ajit Naik was murdered on Friday.
