Karwar: Former state minister and BJP Leader Anand Asnotikar has said he will formally be joining Janata Dal (Secular), on January 15.

He will join the party at a programme in Bengaluru, where both JD(S) National President H D Deve Gowda and State President H D Kumaraswamy will be present.

A bike rally will be held on January 20 from Maruti Temple in Kodibag to Subhash Circle, in Karwar. A foot march will be organised on same day at 3:30 pm in Ankola. JD(S) State Youth Wing President Madhu Bangarappa will take part in both the programmes, Asnotikar said in a press release.
