Bhatkal: Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal's 'STEM expo 2017' ends with a great note here on the evening of 11th November, Saturday.

Addressing the Valedictory function, Alumni of Anjuman Muhammed Arqam Muallim, said, being an engineer one should not limit himself to an engineer of a particular branch, but also should have basic knowledge related to other branches, as we are not aware of it in which field we may be employed in future. He gave an example of himself saying that he is a software engineer, never worked in the software company, but served in electrical and mechanical based companies. Secondly, he said, marks obtained will not be only the thing considered during recruiting. But also needs extra knowledge of today's advanced technology world. The recruiters also consider the character like sincerity, supportive etc. Hence he asked the students to be prepared for all the said things to achieve the successful life.

On this occasion president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Jukaku Abdur Raheem, College Board Secretary Abubakar Kasimji, Vice principal Phalachandra, Director R&D AITM Dr. Uday Prasanna, Prof Zahid Kharuri, Student coordinator Usama Ajaib and many others were present.

Model Expo winner lists:

Samyukta Hegde and Sourabha Hegde of M.E.S.Chaitanya PU College Sirsi bagged first place, while Mohammed Nauman, Aakif Azhar Khan, Sherone D Costa of Anand Ashram Composite P.U College Bhatkal bagged 2nd place and Fathima Zohra, Azeebah Syed, Aisha Umaina of  Anjuman Pre-University College for women, Bhatkal bagged third place and awarded with cash prize of Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

Quizzomania winners list:

Sushant Hegde and Mahesh Hegde of M.E.S.Chaitanya PU College Sirsi bagged first place and awarded with cash prize of Rs 10,000 along with certificates. Shrivatsa Hegde and Sami-ur-Rahman of M.E.S.Chaitanya PU College Sirsi won second place and awarded Rs 6,000 and Nighneshwar Hegde and MB Raghav of SDM PU college, Honnavar bagged third place and awarded Rs 3,000 cash.
