Bhatkal: The annual general body meeting of the Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal, was held here at Jukaku Shamsuddin Memorial Block Anjumanabad, Bhatkal on 21st January, Sunday in which the annual general report and financial report of the year was presented in the presence of management board members of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen.
The members at the general meeting suggested that the education level at Anjuman must be taken to next level and it must be converted into a university just like its founders had visualized.
The members expressed their satisfaction towards the primary and college education provided at Anjuman, where the students have shown excellence in not only school or college level competitions but also in district and state level competitions. However, many suggested that there is a scope for improvement regarding the High school section.
President of Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, Abdul Rahim Jukaku presided the meeting and also advised the members to report petty issues and complaints to the principal or teacher of the respective schools and colleges in order to have more time to discuss bigger issues. He also said that the members do not have to wait for the annual general meeting every year to present their issues and can visit Anjuman office anytime to discuss the matters regarding the institution.
He showed his happiness regarding the attendance of the meeting and said that it only because of the effort and support of the people of the institution that Anjuman is standing firm and strong and appealed them to keep supporting.
The meeting was initiated by the recitation of verses from the holy Qur'an by wiqar-e-Anjuman medal winning student Hafiz Imran Mohiddin Jilani Akrami following which a naat was sung by a student Mohammed Sohaib s/o Sadiq Adam Khan. A welcome speech was delivered by AHM Additional General Secretary Ishaque Shabandri.
The vice-president of AHM Syed Abdul Rahman Batin sang the Anjuman anthem. The annual report was presented by General Secretary of AHM Siddique Ismail, while the financial report was presented by the Secretary of Finance Ameeruddin Kola.
The whole meeting was compered by Mohsin Kharuri and finally the vote of thanks was delivered by professional college board Secretary Aftab Qamri.
On the occasion Asif Damudi, Javeed Hussain Armar, Abdul Waheed Kola, S M Saed Barwez, Abubaker Kashimji and other officials were present.
