Sirsi: Aparna Ramesh assumed the role of Assistant Commissioner of Sirsi on Wednesday, marking the beginning of her tenure. 

A 2021 batch IAS officer from Bengaluru, Aparna secured the 35th All India Rank in the UPSC civil service exams. Notably, she accomplished this feat while employed as an architect and urban planner.

Meanwhile, the former Assistant Commissioner, Devaraj R, has been reassigned to Dharwad.
