Bhatkal: A 21-year-old man was injured when a speeding autorickshaw hit his two-wheeler in Jali road near Rural police station on Sunday.

The injured Muazzam Khattal, a resident of Moosa nagar was on his way to Jali when the autorickshaw, hit his bike trying to avoid a dog passing between the road.

Muazzam was immediately taken to a private hospital and after initial treatment he has been shifted to Mangalore. His leg is being fractured. Muazzam's mother who was pillion rider got minor injuries.
