Addressing a blood group check-up camp, at District Prison in the City on Sunday, he said, Swami Vivekananda succeeded in achieving his goal by facing all the difficulties. Hence, one should inculcate ideologies and principles of Vivekananda, he added.
The camp was jointly organised by Azad Youth Club, Kallu Education Trust, Premashrama Charitable Trust and Nehru Yuva Kendra as part of Swami Vivekananda’s 155th Birth Anniversary.
Retired special deputy commissioner Y Sadashiv presided over. Retired principal Abdul Khayyum Khan, national awardee Nazeer Ahmed Shaikh, Prison superintendent Gururaj Vaygol and others were present.
Carrom and chess boards were distributed to prisoners on the occasion.
