Sirsi (DHNS) :The first additional court of Sirsi has rejected the bail petitions filed by 62 persons against whom police had registered cases in connection with the violence that erupted in Sirsi on December 12.

The next day after the violence, the relatives of the arrested persons had moved bail petition and accordingly conditional interim bail was granted by the court.

Continue its hearing, the court on Tuesday rejected the bail petitions saying that they had violated the conditions marked in the interim bail.

Following this, the police have launched manhunt to once again nab 62 persons.
