Belthangady: In an incident that occurred near Avdaal village in Ujjire near Belthangady, a youth reportedly died after falling from an under construction building.

The deceased, identified as Nilaya (20) fell from the building while working as a construction labour.

Sources said that he fell after losing the balance at the time of shifting down the centering plates from the roof, which as a result, sustained severe injuries to his head.

He was then immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, but later succumbed to his injuries. 

A case has been registered.
