Udupi: The house of murdered businessman Bhaskar Shetty was burgled here at Manipal as thieves escape with gold and silver valuables worth Rs. 3.25 lakhs.
The robbery is suspected to have been took place sometime between November 1 last year and 6th March this year.
According to the complaint filed on 7th March, Wednesday the house was locked since the death of the owner Bhaskar Shetty.
The thieves seem to have entered the house by breaking open the back door. They searched the bedrooms and fled with gold and silver valuables from the cupboards.
A case regsrding the theft was filed by Renuka at Manipal police station.
Bhaskar Shetty was murdered by his own wife Rajeshwari and son Navneeth on 28th July, 2016 and since then, the power of attorney of their house was given to Rajeshwari’s sister Renuka Rai, a resident of Bengaluru.
