Bhatkal: An orthopedic specialist Dr. Janardhan  at Bhatkal taluk government hospital was not present when two accident victims arrived for treatment on Friday.

The public was outraged by the doctor's delay and demanded that he be replaced. 

The doctor has been issued a notice by the Taluk Health Officer for his behavior. 

The District Health Officer will come to Bhatkal to investigate the incident.
