Bhatkal: There will be no electricity in Bhatkal and Honnavar Taluks tomorrow, Wednesday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This was announced by the Assistant Executive Engineer of Bhatkal HESCOM in a press release.

The power shutdown is scheduled to facilitate the replacement of a bus bar red-hot jumper at the 110 kV substation in Honnavar and to conduct regular maintenance work at the Murdeshwar substation. As a result, the power supply to the entire Honnavar and Bhatkal Taluks will be interrupted during this period.

The maintenance work will be carried out under the supervision of the Assistant Executive Engineer, Nodal Officer, KPTCL, Kumta.
