Bhatkal: A decomposed body of a person was found on Nastar beach of Mundalli village in the taluk here, on Monday

The body has been highly decomposed but identified as Laxman Kharvi (64) hailing from Gangolli vilage near Kundapur. He was said to be a fisherman and was missing from 40 days.

The body, which was caught between boulders, was found by local youths who were venturing into the sea for swimming. 

A case has been registered at  Bhatkal Rural Police station.
