Bhatkal: The lack of basic facilities in Madeena colony coming under Heble panchayat limits has made the residents stay in the worst environment with lack of basic facilities. Demanding the necessary steps, a memorandum was submitted to the Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner by Madeena Welfare Society in this regard.
The memorandum stated that Madeena colony don't have UGD system. During monsoon, there isn't any way for water to pass by. In some spots of the colony, there is underground drainage system, which is not capable of making way for drainage water as it is completely filled with muddy particles. Facilities like road and electric power in the region too are very poor. Apart from these, the improper drinking water facility and disposal of waste garbage in this locality is a major issue. They demanded to fulfill the needs as soon as possible.

On this occasion Madeena Welfare Society president Prof. Hasham Qadari Zarzari, General Secretary Maulana Syed Irfan Nadvi, Jameel Ruknaddin, Faisal, Abdulssalam, Sajid Musba, Aftab Damda, Naseer, Najam, Ikraam, Nurulameen among many others were present.
