Bhatkal: The leading NGO and social organization of Bhatkal, Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem will be hosting Naat competition for students in December in the memory of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, who was born in the third month of Islamic calendar called Rabi ul Awwal. 

According to a press release issued by the convenor of the event, Mr.Syed Abdul Azeem S.M., the competition will be held at "Khushaal marriage hall" in Nawayath colony on 8th December, Thursday night, 9.00 PM. The participants will be divided into two groups. Group-A containing the participants aged 10 to 15 years and Group-B of participants aged 16 to 30 years.

Interested students are requested to register their names at the Tanzeem  office between 8th November to 26th November.

A selection round will be held on 30th November, where around ten to twelve participants will be selected from each group who will then advance to the to compete in the final event on 8th December.

The participants are expected to bring their ID card and also mention the name of Naat selected. Every competitor will be allocated 5 minutes to sing the Naat.
