Bhatkal: An incident of suicide have been reported here at Muttalli in Bhatkal, where a woman ended her life after pouring kerosene over her and set herself ablaze. 

The deceased has been identified as Usha Satish Naik, aged 35. The husband of deceased is said to be employed in Karwar.

Reports said that Usha along with her 8-Month-Old son had been to her mother's house two months back. The exact reason behind taking this extreme step of suicide is yet to be ascertained. 

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station and investigations are on.
