Bhatkal: The annual social gathering for women at New Shams School was celebrated at Syed Ali Campus, Jamia Abad Road, on Sunday in Bhatkal. 

The most prestigious award, "Najm-e-Ikwan," was conferred upon Rukiya Iflah, daughter of Dr. Mohammed Yahya Askeri.

The chief guest, Zeenat Abdul Gani Ruknuddin, Principal of Jamiatus salihat, and the guest of honour, Dr. Farzana Mohtesham, Principal of Anjuman Pre University College for Women, Bhatkal, along with Nazeefa Nazeer Ahmed Qazi were present at the event.

During the program, achievers in literary competitions, sports, and various other fields were honored with certificates and trophies. 

The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Amna Abdul Basith. Miss Jabeen extended a warm welcome and Rahat Mohtesham delivered the vote of thanks. 

The program was hosted by Arwa Momin and Faiha Fayaz Siddibapa.
