Bhatkal: A 40-Year-Old pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speeding bike here at Shirali market in Bhatkal.

The deceased has been identified as Timappa Venkata Devadiga.

Sources said that he received severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident. But unfortunately, unable to bear the pain, succumbed to it later. 

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station and further investigations are on.
