Bhatkal: Fear triggered among the residents of Dongerpalli area near Bunder road in Bhatkal on Wednesday evening after an accidental fire broke out across the road.

The rise of fire spread in such a way that it went on connecting the dry wastes present all across the road. This created an atmosphere of fear among the residents who immediately rushed to put it off, but failed.

The fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the information and were fruitful in rubbing out the fire.
