Bhatkal: In a road accident that happened in between two scooters on Ranginkatta NH-66 in the town, one person was severely injured who was taken to Kundapur hospital after giving initial treatment at Bhatkal govt hospital.

According to the sources, the incident happened when one scooter hit another from the rear, as a result, the rider fell on the road sustaining severe injuries. However, the police have seized both the vehicles.

It was also learnt that no case was registered in the police station in this regard till Tuesday night.
