Bhatkal: Senior officials enjoyed scuba diving in deep-sea near Netrani island in Bhatkal taluk. 

Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer M Priyanga and Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Mamata Devi took part in the scuba diving and they had a glimpse of the deep sea.  Netrani Adventures Company arranged scuba diving for them. 

The officials went into the deep sea in select places and closely watched the bio-diversity there. Covid-19 protocols were followed during scuba diving. 

Netrani Adventures has been operational since 2009 December. It is a PADI registered dive centre, offering both Discover Scuba Dive and professional certification courses for aspiring scuba divers and instructors.
