Bhatkal: Dr. Suresh Nayak, the President of Bhatkal Education Trust (BET), highlighted the increasing demand for web designing skills in India as the country embraces technology through the Digital India initiative. He made these remarks during the inauguration of a web designing workshop organized by Canara College, Mangaluru, held at The New English PU College in Bhatkal.

The event featured guest speakers Manoj Kalak, Kishora Sivattaya, and Sujith Pai, who are lecturers at Canara College of Engineering, Mangalore, serving as resource persons.

The workshop was inaugurated by Lecturer Vishwas Prabhu, who also extended a warm welcome and provided an introduction. The growing trend of small businesses establishing their online presence with websites underscores the importance of adapting skills to meet the demands of the evolving digital landscape in India, he added.
