Bhatkal: In a shocking incident, a bike parked outside Hotel Four Seasons here on National Highway caught fire impulsively on Monday.

The incident occurred at around 5:30pm on Monday. However, due to the timely interference of the fire brigade, the fire was put out before causing much harm.

According to sources, the bike owner Agil Bastavi had parked his bike outside the hotel. When he came out and tried to start his bike, fire erupted from its engine and moments later, the whole bike was on fire.

As soon as they were informed, the fire brigade officials arrived at the spot and took the fire under control before it could spread anymore.

However, the bike could not be saved as it had been already consumed by the fire.
