Karwar: A 25-Year-Old youth was killed on the spot after a speeding bike in which he was riding rammed into a barricade near Sadashivgad in the taluk in the early hours of Friday, 26th January.

The deceased has been identified as Shaan Gudinho. 

Sources informed that the accident happened when the victim was returning to his home at around 4 am after watching Kabaddi tournament in the town. Lack of sleepiness and tiredness is suspected to be the cause of the accident. The impact of the collision was such that he succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

A case has been registered in Chittakul police station in the taluk.
