Missing fisherman from Gangolli traced in Arabian Sea

Gangolli: The body of a fisherman who had gone missing after slipping into Gangolli river while fishing, was traced today morning at the Arabian Sea in the region. The deceased is identified as Sudheendra (32).

According to the case registered in the police station, it is said that Sudheendra along with his brother Raghvendra and uncle Ratnakar, was carrying fishing activity at a nearby river when he slipped and drowned in the river. His mates tried to rescue him but failed.

The body of Sudheendra was recovered by the locals today on Monday morning from the Arabian Sea near the lighthouse. Sudheendra was employed as a staff at a hotel in Bengaluru and had been to the native with holidays for ten days.

A case has been registered in Gangolli police station.
