Honnavar: One person was arrested by the police at Kanaskeri region near Manki of Honnavar taluk on 4th February, Sunday on the charges of killing her own sister.

The accused has been identified as Satish Madhav Naik (30), while the victim has been identified as Jyothi Madhav Naik (25).

According to the sources, Jyothi was handicapped and her brother Satish used to take care of her. Frustrated by this over the years, Sathish stabbed Jyothi to death after a minor verbal argument on Sunday.

A case has been registered in Manki police station and further investigations are on.
