Mangaluru: As many as Seven people suffered severe injuries after their bus had an collision with an Auto-rickshaw, at Mudipu on the outskirts of Mangaluru on Wednesday.

It is reported that the Auto was ferrying schoolchildren from Ira to Mudipu and the bus was heading towards B C Road from Mudipu via Ira when the accident happened. 

The incident took place when the Auto driver failed to notice the B C Road-bound bus at a steep curve and rammed into it. All the injured are recuperating in a private hospital. 

The Auto-rickshaw was completely damaged in the accident.
