Kumta: A Bike rider was injured severely after a speeding bus coming from the opposite direction rammed his vehicle during an incident that happened on the morning of 27th October, Friday on Mirzan NH-66 on the outskirts of Kumta.

The injured rider was identified as Sunil Patgar, a resident of Alvekodi in Kumta.

As per the sources, the incident took place when the bike was heading towards Ankola from Kumta, while the bus belonging to KSRTC was heading towards Kumta from Ankola.

The injured victim was immediately rushed to Kumta govt hospital for initial treatments. He received multiple injuries on his face and body.
