Kumta: 12 person were injured when a truck rammed into a private bus on the Alvekodi, National highway in the wee hours of Thursday. 

The accident happened when the bus belonging to SRS travels was on the way towards Honnavar from Kumta route, while the truck was coming from the opposite direction. Both went on colliding each other injuring 12 people including the drivers of both the vehicles. All the injured were immediately rushed to Kumta govt hospital for treatments.

The impact of collision made both the vehicles severely damage to their front portion.

A case has been registered in Kumta police station.
