Bhatkal:  It was a festival mood for the JD(S) and the Congress workers in Bhatkal as the JD(S)-Congress coalition government came into existence, on Wednesday.

The party workers celebrated soon after JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy was sworn-in as the new chief minister for the second time in Bengaluru.

The supporters burst crackers and distributed sweets.
Hundreds of party workers gathered at Shamshuddin Circle and raised slogans in favour of Deve Gowda, Kumaraswamy, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi. 

On the occasion, Bhatkal Block Congress President Vittal Naik, JD(S) leader Amjad SM and many others were present.
