CET Exam on 18th, 19th; 8037 students registered in Udupi district: DC Vidyakumari

Udupi: The CET exams on April 18th and 19th in Udupi district will see 8037 students participating across 17 examination centers. 

Deputy Commissioner Dr. K. Vidyakumari emphasized the need for a transparent and secure exam environment during a preparatory meeting. She highlighted the importance of conducting the exams without any irregularities and ensuring the well-being of students. 

Dr. Vidyakumari commended the district's recent success in the second PUC exams and urged educators to guide science students effectively for the upcoming CET. Security measures, including CCTV surveillance and police presence, were stressed, with strict regulations prohibiting electronic devices and jewelry inside exam centers. 

Officials were instructed to ensure timely distribution of question papers and maintain essential services like electricity and transportation. 

Dr. Vidyakumari urged students to arrive early and bring valid identification. Coordination among staff and officials was emphasized to conduct the exams smoothly. 

The meeting was attended by key district officials including Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Prateek Boyal and Additional Superintendent of Police ST Siddalingappa. The district is geared up for a well-organized and secure CET examination, prioritizing fairness and student welfare.
