Bhatkal: The Al-Hilal Association on Friday held a cleaning drive campaign 'Clean Maqdoom colony' in the town. 

'Association members including the youths of Magdoom colony actively participated in the campaign which started right from the early hours', said Al-Hilal association president Shabbir Gangawali.

Speaking to media, he also said, the entire colony including the bunches of waste plants grown-up on the compound walls were removed. The only intention behind this campaign is to bring awareness on cleanliness among the people.

On this occasion association's general secretary Abdur Raheem, members and number of residents of Magdoom colony were present.
