Kasargod: Around 40 miscreants allegedly belonging to right wing organisation vandalized a club here at Soorambail on 11th March, Sunday.
It is learnt that the club attacked was Kairali Friends Club run by CPI (M) members. The attackers have destroyed furniture, electronic items, documents and other items.
According to sources, the miscreants arrived at the club in over 20 bikes, vandalized it and fled from the spot. However, no causalities were reported and no one was injured during the incident.
It is suspected that the cause for this attack was the political rivalry between the BJP and the CPI (M). Locals said that the attackers were also of the same area.
A case has been registered at Kumla police station and the police are investigating the matter.
