Haliyal: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during his December 7 visit will inaugurate 91 projects worth Rs 515 crore, informed MLC S L Gotnekar.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, he said for the first time in history of Haliyal that projects worth so much money is being launched by any government. Rs 220 crore has been allotted for the project of filling lakes in various villages through Kali River. This was one of the most sought after project by the farmers. The tender process of the project has been completed and chief minister will lay foundation stone for the same.

The chief minister will also handover government sponsored benefits to the beneficiaries on the occasion. He will also flag off mini buses for rural transportation.
