Mangaluru: Hangyo, which has come to be recognized as one of the most liked ice cream brands in South India has bagged multiple awards and medals in the Grearlt Indian Ice Cream and Frozen Dessert contest held in Gurugram recently this month. Pradeep G Pai Managing Director Hangyo Ice Cream Pvt Ltd said "We have won 2 gold for Standard Vanilla Category and Kool Kids, bagged 3 silver for Chocolate- Best Chocolate category, Sorbet Category and also silver for the most Innovative ice cream and Frozen Dessert category and bronze for Standard Vanilla Frozen dessert category." 

An elated Mr. Pai thanked all those who have been a part of this wonderful journey and continue to do so. 'The Great Indian Ice Cream and Frozen Dessert contest-2017' is a flagship event by Indian Dairy Association. DuPont Nutrition and Health conducted the event.

The result was announced on 16 November 2017. Over 100 Ice-creams from all over India participated in the competition.
