As many as 4,801 voters in Uttara Kannada including senior citizens above the age of 80 and persons with disabilities (PwD) will vote from their homes in the coming Assembly election. In addition, 11,190 voters will exercise their franchise through postal ballot.

With six Assembly constituencies, Uttara Kannada district has a total of 11,94,714 voters. This was after the revision of the electoral rolls which concluded recently.
This includes 5,99,527 men, 5,95,180 women and seven others.
The draft voters list was published in January. Later, the final voters list was published in early March. As per the list, there are 11.94 lakh voters.
