The road from Bunder road to Sagar road, which passes through the renowned 'Shamshuddin Circle' is reported to be converted into a 4-lane road. The road which is about one and a half kilometers will soon go under construction. The project was inaugurated by the MLA Mankal Vaidya on Monday, 19th September.

Kundapur: In a gruesome road accident, that took place between a car and ambulance, one person travelling in a car was killed on the spot and as many as four people sustained grievous injuries. The incident took place in the early morning around 3am, near Touheed high school NH-66 in Shirur of Kundapur taluk on 18th September, Monday.
