The Delhi High Court has acquitted a man, who was jailed for 10 years by a trial court for raping a woman here in 2011, observing that she was in a live-in relationship with him and her statement regarding the alleged incident was suffering from "serious infirmities".

A case was filed against a doctor of a private hospital for alleged negligence while conducting a delivery, on Friday. Shruti Suvara, 24, died at Gandhi Hospital on June 7. She was admitted to the hospital a day earlier after having reached her full term of pregnancy. Gynecologist Dr Chaayalatha, was treating her.
