'Communal Harmony' themed program held in Bhatkal by All India Message of Humanity Forum

Bhatkal: The All India Message of Humanity Forum on 4th February, Sunday, organized a grand program on 'Communal Harmony' at Jamia Islamia, Bhatkal, in which people of all faiths participated in the event in huge numbers.

Presiding over the event, president of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and Chairman of All India Message of Humanity Forum, Maulana Rabey Hasani Nadvi, addressing the people, said, the building of strong nation takes place through unity. Each and every human on the earth has different mindset and ideas, which results in the differences. But after all, we all are humans who need to lead understanding each other. He further said that most of our dealings happen with different community people like in markets, hospitals etc. He pointed out that the destruction of the nation takes place when its own citizens fight each other, which will be a major loss for both as a final outcome. He stressed upon the people to spread peace in the society and quoted it as a part of Islam. Finally, he suggested the people to involve themselves in building a strong bonding between all communities to establish a powerful and healthy nation.

Prof. Anees Chisti, speaking to the people, said, the word 'Dharm' is defined for the unification of mankind and not for division. The current situation of the nation is such that every individual feels disturbed about his future, fearing what may happen the next moment. He asked the youth of the nation to come forward to preserve the culture and tradition of India. There are about 1652 mother tongues and more than 6000 local languages in India, he added.

Further speaking, Editor in Chief of Vartha Bharathi Kannada daily, Abdussalam Puttige said that if violence takes place in the name of religion in any part of the country, the entire nation suffers due to it. It's the duty of the individual who obtains the true knowledge of the religious study to safeguard the unity of the nation, he said.

Apart from these, other eminent personalities including Maulana Sajjad Nomani, Maulana Bilal Hasani Nadvi, MLA Mankal Vaidya, Maulana Ilyaz Jakti Nadvi, Dr. Ganapathi P Bhat and Tahsildar VN Bhaadkar too spoke on the occasion.

The winners of the essay competition organized by All India Message of Humanity Forum were also awarded on the occasion. Sheetal S Naik awarded the first prize which was a Laptop computer, while Pooja Venkatesh Naik awarded second prize with a Refrigerator and Fathima Fara SM was awarded third prize with washing machine.

On this occasion chief Qazi of Bhatkal Jamaat Ul Muslimeen Maulana Iqbal Mulla Nadvi, chief Qazi of Markazi Khaleefa Jamaat Ul Muslimeen Maulana Khwaja Mohiddin Akrami Nadvi, Principal of Jamia Islamia Maulana Maqbool Ahmed Kobattey Nadvi, Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem president Muzammil Kazia, Jamia Islamia president Muhammed Shafi Shahbandri and others were present.
